Boy or Girl?

IT'S A BOY! We went to our 20 week ultrasound today and yes, we saw his little wee-wee! I couldn't be happier and of course Zach is so happy to have his little basketball/soccer player. We also found out that everything else is healthy. I was a little stressed out today after the appointment because they told me our little boys kidney was a bit enlarged and he had a little spot on his brain. Yes, I cried and made myself sick until the doctor called me hours later. He reassured me that everything was fine and he isn't worried at all. He see's this all the time and says it should go away on its own, both problems. He also told me that if he was worried about it he would send me to the city or do another ultrasound and he is not going to do that. That made me feel so much better but of course as a first time mommy, I'm still going to worry about my little guy. On a happier note, they said the heart was a very healthy heart and she was very pleased with the growing our little man has been doing. We got an awesome picture of his feet, and my goodness they are some BIG feet! Zach jokes around and says he is going to be dunking the basketball by 6th grade. haha But anyways...I will post pictures soon of the ultrasound from today. We are so excited to start planning for the arrival of our little BOY!

18 weeks and counting!

Next Monday, July 26th, is the big day! We get to find out if baby is a boy or a girl! We can't wait to find out. Last doctors appointment was just a check up and everything went great. Dr. Brown said the heart beat was about 150, a little higher than our last appointment. But Zach was there to hear the heartbeat, which was exciting. He also said I was measuring a little farther along than we thought, but we will check that out at our next ultrasound.
Zach and I went on vacation last week, which was very nice and relaxing. We visited with his uncle in Connecticut and his other uncle in Long Island. It was a good little get away. We enjoyed spending the time together. Here are just a few pictures from the trip! btw- my belly is growing as you can start to see in the pictures!

12 Week Ultrasound pictures!

I'm late at posting the 12 week ultrasound pictures, but better late than never! In 4 short weeks we will have another ultrasound to see if the little one is a boy or girl, can't wait!

Baby Bump at 15 weeks!

15 weeks!

It is so hard to believe that it has already been 15 weeks! My last appointment went great, we took a lot of test and took some more blood. Everything looks great so far. I absolutely love my doctor, Dr. Brown. Right now things are really starting to change and set in. My baby is growing, which means my belly is too. I'm still wearing my clothes but some pants are getting tight. I have been eating a lot and having lots of cravings. We have another appointment in about three weeks for a check up and then two weeks after that we get to find out if it is going to be a little girl or little boy, so excited to find out! Everything has been flying by so far. I'm gonna post pictures of my baby bump soon!

I had an ultrasound yesterday! Everything went very well. The ultrasound changed my due date to December 9th, which was just a few days off of what we estimated. The baby was moving like crazy and flipping up and down. It was so amazing to finally see the little one. The tech said everything looked normal and the baby was growing at a normal rate and the heart beat was great. I have pictures that I will try to post soon. I have another big appointment on Monday! I can't wait until my 20 week appointment to found out if it is gonna be a little girl or little boy.

Week 12

I can't believe I'm already in week 12. A lot has been going on and things are starting to work themselves out. I get blood work done tomorrow so they can check hormone levels and then we have an appointment on the 14th! I'm excited to see the little one. My family knows now! It was such a relief to finally tell them and start getting support from them. They have been beyond amazing! Everything has been going very well for me. I have been very tired and Zach calls me lazy, but right now I love being lazy! I never really had the morning sickness or the ucky feelings that most preggos complain of, which has been nice! The only thing that really makes me feel nauseous is showers, which really stinks. I find myself having to take really quick showers or I start to feel miserable. Also, subway used to be one of my favorites...not anymore! It grosses me out! I have started to grow out of my clothes already. I am ready to start looking preggo instead of looking like I just stopped caring and gained weight! I'm in the "fat looking" stage. No fun! Zach and I went swimming today at his house and you can definitely see my belly in a bathing suit! I will update again soon!
